The Program: a closer look
Students in the Missouri Options Program take the state sanctioned HiSET test distributed by
the Educational Testing Service.
Students who graduate from the Missouri Options Program will earn a high school diploma that
is no different than a diploma offered by traditional high schools and is accepted by all
post-secondary institutions.
In preparation for the HiSET, students engage in independent, online learning in all areas
required by the state of Missouri for high school graduation including:
the Educational Testing Service.

All students must complete end of course exams in these subjects, as required by the State
of Missouri.
